Gyengébb csapatoknál meg max. levezetne...mint Kahne jövőre a 95-ösben, de ilyen helyekre is kell a pénz, de mezőny vége garantált.

Utóbbi 1-2 évben látványosan készült már a civil életre. Ruhabiznisz, egészséges életmód könyv, meg ki tudja lehet Rickyvel már babázna is, vagy átállna egy versenyzőfeleség szerepbe. Jövőre 36 éves lesz, 2019-re mire teljesen felhagy az autóversenyzéssel 37. Üzletasszonyként, átlag nőként fiatal most is, de autóversenyzőként ennyi pályán töltött év után lehet már betelt.
Én azt se bántam volna ha visszajön Indycarba és csak oválokon menne (bár ha valóban Ganassival menne Indyben és tudna villantani én nem tartom kizártnak hogy Indy500-akra legalább visszatérne de ez magánvélemény) Stock car karrier nagyon bezárult, Indyben azért több az opció és annyi pénz se kell oda, és talán IC-re könnyebben összeáll egy szponzorcsomag. Azért ow-ben Danica - Ganassi kombó elég erősnek tűnik nekem.
Engem ez a hír kicsit szíven ütött.:( Bíztam benne, hogy 2018-ban még tud futni egy teljes szezont. Az lep meg, hogy Daytona és Indy500 után teljesen befejezi. Simán beugorhatott volna még mondjuk a nagyobb futamokra v. esetleg a kedvenc pályai közül néhányra, mint teszik azt most is néhányan korra és technikára való tekintet nélkül....
Leilani Munter leírt egy történetet velük kapcsolatban instagramra, hogy anno Daytonában L.M. sokat köszönhetett neki, mivel Danica adott neki újfajta HANS-t ami kötelező volt használni már az ARCA-ban is, mivel régebbi volt Munternek (egészen szép cáfolat a Danicaönzőnagyképű imidzsre amúgy:)
A lot of people have been asking me about my thoughts on @danicapatrick's retirement. Danica and I met for the first time in 2003 and we've always gotten along. I sent this to her in 2013, the day after she won the pole for the Daytona 500. The second message is from back in 2010 when we were both racing in the ARCA Series at Daytona. My HANS device was old and needed to be updated and the only way I was able to participate in our first practice session was because Danica loaned me her spare HANS - I'll always be thankful to her for that act of kindness. Women need to support each other and cheer each other on in this world. I have always wished the best for Danica and I will continue to cheer her on as she competes in her final races.

HOMESTEAD, Fla. (AP) — Roger Penske has no room in his Indianapolis 500 lineup for Danica Patrick.
“The Captain” has a hunch where Patrick’s Indy comeback will take her in May — with Chip Ganassi.
“I sent him a note and said, ‘Congratulations. Danica better be driving your car at Indy because unfortunately she’s not driving for us,’” Penske said, laughing.

Chip Ganassi Racing is the likely ride at Indy. Ganassi has room to field additional cars — he’s scaling down from four full-time cars to two next year — and would give Patrick a car capable of winning. Ganassi said Friday he has met with Patrick and called her “Danica Double” a great idea.
Penske said Patrick and Ganassi, who has Ed Jones and IndyCar great Scott Dixon in his lineup, would be a perfect pair.
“I think that’s a great seat for her,” Penske said Saturday. “That’s a great team. They’re the ones that’s always been competitive there. I take my hat off that she wants to continue to go back to open wheel. That’s going to be terrific for the sport and there’s going to be a lot of interest around the country.”

Stewart-Haas Racing has signed Aric Almirola to join its Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series lineup in 2018. The 33-year-old from Tampa, Florida, will drive the team’s No. 10 Smithfield Ford Fusion.
